Urban Myth Theatre of Youth Inc
A youth theatre company that offers workshops and performance outcomes for members aged between 5 and 26 years. We are an inclusive organisation, offering scholarships for financially disadvantaged youth and cater for all cultures and disabilities. Our mission is to be able to offer theatre experiences for anyone wishing to attend. Urban Myth has been in operation for 26 years and we rely heavily on government and private funding, donations and sponsorship to achieve our goals. In 2007 and 2008, Urban Myth wants to expand its activities to include more regional South Australians and we are looking for funding to support this. Urban Myth develops theatre based on youth issues as well as classic plays. Urban Myth is a community organisation that works with councils, schools, welfare agencies, other community groups etc to achieve the outcomes applicable to our goals and those of our young members. We have the status of Paper School in South Australia which means we can offer SACE points
