 Careflight NRMA Careflight provides one of the worlds most advanced rapid response medical emergency retrieval services. Operating out of bases at Westmead in Sydney and Orange, we employ 33 specialist doctors , 10 pilots and 11 crewman who work with 14 paramedics from the NSW Ambulance Service. With 5 medical teams rostered on every day we provide hospital standard treatment to seriously ill and injured patients across NSW. Teams respond by one of our 3 helicopters or by road or fixed wing air ambulance depending on the circumstance.
