Child Wise is an Australian charity dedicated to protecting children everywhere. Child Wise is unique. It is the only Australian based organisation working exclusively to prevent the sexual abuse and exploitation of children in Australia, Asia and the Pacific. Child Wise combines direct support, advocacy, community education, research, program implementation and training, to provide an innovative, highly specialised and enduring child protection service to communities in Australia and overseas. Child Wise is the Australian representative of ECPAT (End Child Prostitution, Pornography and Trafficking) International, a global network of organisations working in 67 countries to prevent the sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Child Wise is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and is a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct. The Code requires members to meet high standards of corporate governance, public accountability and financial management.Child Wise is an Australian charity registered with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status for donations received for our Australian-based projects.
