Marymead Child and Family Centre
Marymead is a local community-based child and family service working to break the cycle of childhood abuse and neglect. Part of the Canberra family for 40 years, we support struggling families and care for children who cannot live at home. Marymead is also committed to intervening early in the lives of children at risk to before problems and traumas become entrenched. For every dollar invested in the early years, the community saves $17 later on in health, welfare and reform costs - not to mention the difference made in the life of a child!
Marymead is creating a brighter future for at-risk Canberra children, through the community's support.
