The Nusa Tenggara Association
The NTA aims to reduce poverty in Eastern Indonesia through improved education, small infrastructure and income-generating activities, encouraging local participation at the grass-roots level. Several projects operate on a rotating credit basis - funds are used to establish a source of income such as farming or weaving, then paid back, and recycled to another group. Over 90% of all donated funds go straight to the field, as all NTA members within Australia are volunteers.
