The Centre for Volunteering
The Centre for Volunteering supports all volunteer effort throughout NSW. The Centre undertakes research and policy development as well as offering volunteer placements for individuals and not for profit organisations. The Centre is also a registered training organisation and offers accredited and non-accredited training in all aspects of management. A program for school aged children is also in place to assist high school students to experience the benefits of volunteering. A major program currently underway is working with the corporate sector to develop employee volunteering programs and introducing charities and corporates to help them develop mutually beneficial partnerships. The Centre is a registered charity and accepts support and donations to help in its program of encouraging and developing volunteering opportunities throughout the state.
