About Sunshine Sunshine provides whole of life care and support to people with an intellectual disability by providing our clients with choice, voice, privacy, dignity and inclusion through access to our services in the areas of:
• Accommodation and Respite Services • Employment Services • Community Access Programs
We’re proud to be acknowledged as leading edge service provider, providing services to more than 490 people aged between 19 and 90 on a daily basis including 24/7, 365 days a year care to clients in community based accommodation.
Sunshine Accommodation and Respite Services Sunshine provides care for an increasing ageing population including 24/7, 365 days-a-year care to 125 people in our 29 community homes and respite care for up to 171 people in homes that have been set up by us. To meet the needs of many of our clients many of whom have multiple disabilities, we have responded by setting up a specialised housing model that supports especially those who are ageing people with very high needs. Now that Sunshine also provides flexible respite in-home services to clients and their families, Sunshine is able to work with our clients to ensure that their family units are preserved as long as possible in their own home environment.
Employment Sunshine provides support for people with intellectual disability through our employment service Employment Solutions, which is a specialist employment service offering training and guidance to assist people
