Australian Rotary Health Research Fund
Since 1986, Rotary clubs and Rotarians have supported the Australian Rotary Health Research Fund in Australia. Findings in previous research areas of Cot Death, Health of the Elderly and Adolescent Health and Family Health have been internationally acclaimed. RESEARCH From 1st January 2000 support has gone to Mental Illness research in Australians. The Australian Rotary Health Research Fund also supports other areas of health research. The Australia Rotary Health Research Fund supports research projects which are designed to improve the quality of existing services or to evaluate new evidence-based services that have the potential restore or promote the health of Australian living in rural and/or remote area. EDUCATION The Australian Rotary Health Research Fund offers Australia wide an Indigenous Health Scholarship to Indigenous university students and is now offering Rural Medical and Nursing Scholarships.
