 Extended Families Australia Extended Families Australia—or EFA, is a not for profit organisation that provides support, respite, and significant social relationships and community participation for children with disabilities and their families. We match a child with a disability with a volunteer who takes the role of a companion and friend where families are without their own extended family networks. We also provide children’s play groups, social groups, and family activities.
