Guide Dogs Victoria
Guide Dogs Victoria provides a comprehensive range of orientation and mobility services to enable blind or vision impaired people move around the commmunity safely, independently and confidently. Our range of services include Guide Dog mobility, Children\\\'s Mobility, Neurological Mobility services (for those with vision loss caused by stroke or an acquired brain injury), Ocuupational Therapy and general Orientation & Mobility. We are the only Victorian organisation that provides a full range of services for people of all ages - from five to 95. Our training enables children and adults to walk out the door each day without fear on injury, allowing them to pursue a career, attend school or university, enjoy a favourite pastime and live an activbe life. All our services are provided completely free of charge to those in need and are available and accessible across both metropolitan and regional Victoria. In 2007, Guide Dogs Victoria is celebrating its 50th year of charitable service.
