 National Centre for road Trauma Support Ltd The service began in 1999 in response to the unmet needs of a family friend killed by a drunk driver. The service offers free counselling and practical support for anyone involved in a motor vehicle crash: witnesses, bystanders, injured and bereaved. Information kits and special resources for children and families, with particular interest in the needs of children. The service relies on donations and income generated from training programs to run its daily operations and community services. Education and training is available for community and health professionals on the effects of road trauma and the specific needs of injured and beraved people and ways of providing support.
