 St John Ambulance Australia (Victoria) The mission of St John is to “Prevent and relieve sickness and injury and act to enhance the health and well being of people of all races and creeds anywhere in the world.” St John Ambulance Australia (Victoria) has been providing care to the Victorian community since 1883. Our Volunteers support Victorians through: 1. The provision of First Aid to all Victorians at events and in times of natural and man made disasters 2. Working to provide comfort and companionship Victorians who are isolated, lonely and marginalised St John Ambulance Australia (Victoria) is largely self funded and relies on the support of the philanthropic community, and the sale of first aid kits and training.
