![]() Villa Maria Villa Maria is a values–based organisation providing quality services and life enhancing opportunities for older people and people with a disability. In 1907, a young, courageous, partly blind woman called Louisa Fawkner gathered together a band of volunteers to establish the Catholic Braille Writers Association. From these humble beginnings, Villa Maria has grown to become one of Victoria’s largest not-for-profit providers of disability, education and senior services, with more than 60 programs supporting over 5,000 people across metropolitan and regional Victoria. Services offered by Villa Maria include: Disability Services – Shared Supported Accommodation, Day Programs for adults/children, Individual Support Programs, Respite Services, Case Management for adults with disabilities. Education Services - Early Childhood Intervention for children with disabilities or developmental delays, Specialist Education (St Paul’s College) for children with disabilities and additional needs and a Bridging Program to transition children into mainstream school.
