Big Brothers Big Sisters is a specialist mentoring organisation proving mentoring services to at risk young people.As one of the oldest youth mentoring organisations in Australia, each young person is matched to a trained volunteer mentor. They commit to meet on a weekly basis for a minimum 12 months undertaking a range of low cost activities. Young people are referred to the program through Family Support Agencies, Foster Care Program, Child Protection Services, Schools and Disability Support Programs.
