Founded in 2003, Bendigo Animal Shelter offers an innovative approach to addressing animal and people welfare issues by combining the two. We offer Community Support Programs, Responsible Pet Ownership education & support and of course, rehome unwanted animals in accordance with our Pro Life Policy. This means no animal is ever euthanased unless suffering a debilitating disease or has repeatedly attacked another animal or person and cannot be retrained.
